Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does my hair have to be in order to book an appt?
      A: Hair must be at least 4 inches in order to make an appt. If hair is not long enough appt will be canceled. And DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE RETURNED!!!

Q:  Are your prices different when you travel?
      A: Yes, please contact me directly for pricing outside of Charlotte, NC
  (pricing may vary based on travel expenses and  accommodations).



Q: The date that I am looking for is not showing on appt calendar?
       A: Typically that means the day is full , you may check back periodically to see if an appointment opens up.  

  Q: How do I make a deposit?
        A: when booking your appt , you will automatically be directed to do so.

                
  Q: Do you travel?
       A: Yes, upcoming dates and locations  available on website ("Typh's News" tab) as well as social media  outlets. (i.e. FB, Instagram, Twitter)

  Q:What do I need to bring to my appointment?
       A: Hair if previously advised, and remaining  payment in full. Clean hair with little to no product.

Q: How long will it take?
      A: Time varies on style desired. 

Q: What is the youngest age that you will braid children's hair?
     A: 1 years old or based on hair density /hair health.

Q: Do you take walk ins?
     A:yes, when posted.  Typh typically works appt only.

Q: Do I have to pay a deposit?
     A: Yes a non refundable deposit is required whenever booking an appointment. If apptointment is cancelled outside of a 48hour window of appointment, it is then transferred to next scheduled appointment.  NO REFUNDS


Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appt?
     A: If appt is canceled outside of 48 prior to scheduled appt, you have 30 days to reschedule a new appt and transfer deposit. If not done the deposit is then forfeited. NO REFUNDS.

Q: Do you have online scheduling?
     A: Online scheduling is up and running and can be found on Services tab and clicking BOOK NOW.
